The City of North
Vancouver celebrates the
completion of their
landmark building
located at West 14th
street and Lonsdale Ave
adjacent to the Spirit
Square Civic Plaza later
this month. September
20th, 2010 festivities
to officially launch the
new building will take
place from 11am-3pm.
Occupying three
stories totaling 3,200
square meters, the
facility boasts 150 000
expanded items housed in
a bright, modern and
efficient building.
Large windows enable
members to soak up
western scenery across
North Vancouver to Lions
Gate Bridge and view the
North Shore peaks
including Grouse
Mountain to the North.
The library will have
wireless access, meeting
rooms, a vast teen
section, children's
reading garden,
automated self-check out
and much more.
